Ford is adding 1,500 new jobs at the F-150 truck plant, can build enough at the rate of demand!...
We must be doing something right...
GM and Chrysler are soon to follow with the Aluminum body...
As of Feb. 1 Ford had 50,703 USA hourly workers. GM has ~ 50,300 USA hourly workers. It's the 1st time since the 1930s that Ford has had more USA hourly workers than GM. Ten years ago GM had about 21,000 more workers than Ford. The USA tax payers took it in the ass for 10.5 BILLION $s on the GM deal...so...if any of you guys want to get you a Chevy/GMC truck....do not let the door knob hit you in the ass on the way out.
way to go Lem!!!!

I like the F150 too. I bought a 2014 F350 Super Duty and I thought the front was ugly too when I first saw them come out. Once I bought it, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I concur! I want a new(er) F250 or F350. Debating on selling my 95 F350 and my 2005 Escape, then pick up a new(er) Super Duty however I want a gasser.

Sharp Dually !
I would love to have a '11-'15 cc dually 4wd.
Those look so bad a$$.
When we first got a 2011 SD at work in 2010, I could not get over how huge the grille was. It reminded me of a semi truck's grille.
It's kind of grown on me since, so I bought a 2011 F250.

China is calling the shots for GM now. They're also supplying a large percentage of GM's components. Do a few minutes of research before you decide who gets your U.S. $$$...and what you get in return.
We have only one domestic (US owned) automaker left. Hint: It's the one that didn't take the bailout.

AMEN Lem! And lets not forget that Dodge/Chrysler is owned by Italians. Not an American product. You might as well call it Fiat.

I thought Ford used Chinese transmissions in the Mustangs? It's the only one I know about, and they may have quit, not saying Ford uses alot of China stuff, but they might use some.maverick wrote:Lem Evans wrote:blown86hallet wrote:Lem Evans wrote:Canadian $s is a different deal.
