You've probably seen this, but these guys managed to get a peak of 270cfm out of the old poly head using a 1.94 intake valve.  Not too shabby.  Got a set of fancy T&D rockers/shafts/stands on it and an interesting air-gap style dual plane intake which I assume is probably made by Chrysler Power.

ever time I hear the New heads, from the BBC,Cleve's to the current Pro stock, I think of those old wide 318 Mopars from the 50's

Btw, good numbers from those old heads, they'er plans are for a stroker. for the ENC a small cube engine would be better imo.

In the "Vintage" class the score is all about maximum AVERAGES of torque and horsepower with a provision for cubic inch size so, make the engine as torquey as you can yet still allow the cylinder head to feed it to that maximum contest RPM.

I am sure that Kaase will do real well with his stroked "Y" block.
