Main studs in a460 block ?

I bought a 600ci with c460 heads and a A460 block. It has main bolts in it.
So I'm assuming there's main studs available for the Ford racing A460 block right? And wouldn't it b a good idea to run studs, or are the bolts well enough

bolt versus stud, when used correctly, no change in clamping capability. The bolts for the block are fine. Studs won't hold any more load.... they are just harder for the layperson to F up using.

Got over 1000 lb/ft of tq in mine, and the bolts are doing just fine.

Bolts on all my a460 blocks too.

Guess il stick with the bolts then

I have studs on the inners and bolts on the outer. I did have it line honed with the studs.

If you just gotta have studs.....get a the same kit for a stock block....it'll do the inner vertical units.

I just run the A460 bolts.

I noticed also that there's no washers used with the bolts, is this correct? Seem odd to me

No washers is correct.
