#1 Main bearing oil hole
The front main bearing hole seems to be outward of the oil slot in the main bearing. (see pic)
Do I need to oval the small hole towards the center to allow the front cam bearing to get more oil? Notice the #2 bearing slot is over both holes.

The oil is also fed by the big hole on number one so it is no problem as it is...

Re: #1 Main bearing oil hole
If you are concerned about the center hole to the cam bearing you can completely block it on number1 if you wish because, it is fed oil from the other side.
Re: #1 Main bearing oil hole
Don't bother chamfering it. As dave and Randy have both said, it gets plenty of oil from the big galley going across the front of the block.
