Is there a cheaper kit then the hi 9 to get hi Pinon I herd you can get just the housing and use all your stock gears all I can find on goggle is the true hi 9

The gears for the hi9 are different. Standard 9" gears would run backwards in that housing. I've looked all over as well for a 609 front axle I'm working on. If you want the high pinion housing, you are limited on ratios as well. Currie and Spidertrax are other places to look at for high pinion options, but don't expect to see much cheaper.

What kind of a angle will a high angle drive shaft handle? I'm looking at close to 30 degrees

Check http://www.highangledriveline.com they have 38* and 42* stuff in stock.

Right on thanx I got in touch with with this guy I think that's the way to go for now since I might swap the axles this winter definitely need a solid front axle and not sure if I'm going to stay with half tone or not
