You start phukin around with it Nick, youre done valuewise. Another money-pit you will have to give away if you ever have to sell. Start out with a wreck or a junker. You will be farther ahead.

Actually, I figure a hot rod, racecar, streetrod....whatever....ain't worth spit if it isn't the way you want it. If you didn't buy it to make money with it, then make it what you want. That's why we call this our hobby....not our used car business.

How many of you guys could sell your baby and recover your investment? I know I couldn't even come close, and I built every bit of the damned thing myself. In this case, Nick has already had a Fox Mustang turned racecar.

x2 I built my truck from ground up with the help of Rick aka 557mazda and I don't think I would get what I have in it if I was to ever decide to sale it.

I say make it yours, you have to be happy with it. And they aren't all that rare, what did they make in 2012, 8000+? Based on how the fox body looked, I'm sure it'll still be a beautiful car. I see GT 500's all day long around here. And keep us updated with pics Nick!! And you'll have to take a break here in a couple weeks because we'll be busy soaking up the sun and trying to find trouble at the beach!!!

Replace the factory blower with a TVS or a Whipple. BMR has some great suspension pieces. Depending on how hard you intend on launching the thing, many have the axle tubes welded on the 8.8 when using slicks with a manual trans. On the gas, I have used VP109 (oxygenated) fuel with success, unleaded, won't mess up the O2 sensors. However, many today are simply going to E85 when doing high boost street applications.

Yes VMP TVS and going to run it on vp109
