Re: Blown C head
I am taking my existing 605 that will go 4.40's @155 in south florida heat.
putting a 1471 with 2 terminators.
Wilson Manifolds is making a manifold for me, which will open the door for others that want to build one, as no one makes an intake for C heads
So, basically just taking some lift out of cam, lowering compression and putting the huffer on.

Re: Blown C head
Robert,
I would suggest that you buy another crankshaft. The blown engines like the BB Chevy crank snout diameter, and of course double keyed. Your front motor plate needs to be reworked and design in a crankshaft snout support bearing, such as what RCD makes for the Hemi and Chevy engines. The crankshaft should probably have center counterweights and then your rod journals need to go back up in size to 2.375" and run the Chrysler bearings. Also, it will be time to switch to a cam gear drive with a cam driven mechanical fuel pump such as Enderle or Waterman. It's time for a magneto also.
Hope this helps,
Charlie

Wilson mainfold has everything. It will be a few months for them to make the intake out of a solid block of aluminum. They are designing it from scratch.
