PISTON RING QUESTION
Hey, guys - I just file fit the rings for my 521 build, and I'm ready to put the rings on the pistons - but I can't figure out which way is up on the top ring! The second ring is marked "top" along with the letter "E". The top ring has the letter "E" on it, but it's not marked "top". the rings in question are PBM Power Seal #PS24390FL. The top ring has a bevel on one inner edge. Can anybody help me so I can assemble this beast?

On an unmarked top ring the inner bevel goes toward the top.
Re: PISTON RING QUESTION
THANK YOU, Randy! I was thinking that - but I didn't want to assume as long as I knew the correct answer would be here on this forum, thanks again!

Re: PISTON RING QUESTION
And "if" it doesn't have a bevel on the inside , it doesn't matter.
