A little bit impatient are you...?
To totally finish at 4.600"; around $400.00 to $500.00 is the going rate for a good job.

mine a bigger project , boring from 4.600" to 4.799" and installing 8-4.801" dimensional Darton Ductile iron sleeves and boring to 4.603". With my ol' triple "7" at .015" a cut it takes a while ! but it will be ready to assemble by tomorrow Night!!!
Frank
got 4 holes done to night and it's raining ! so no farm work tomorrow, just racecar work!!

we wouldn't need to change the pistons and sleeves if we would just quit putting are toes over the edge !!! but the way I do it .you can change a sleeve without pushing the other cylinders out of round and I've had that ol' triple "7" for 40+ years and it will do a nice job in good hands !!

Randy, I didn't realize I had posted the inquiry twice
The post was done from my phone. I'm very sorry if it look like I was rushing for an answer. I do apologize I don't write much on here but I do read a lot on this form.
Thank you giving the information I was needing.

Frank, what size engine you are building? It appears it's going to be a monster. I think for me a 598 is going to be plenty for street /build.

Not twice ... THREE times.
I see the one which got no answers was deleted.
Re: Price for boring a block
My next question is who does this line of of work for living? I will need to have ship to you. The machine shop here wanted me to rent or buy the torque plates. by the end of July I will be ready to start buying all the other parts needed to put this build together after 3 years on hold.
