Ok to use vp110 to idle motor on? Just to flush out q16
i run q16 and the season is now over, so I want to run motor on a non oxygenated fuel . Only thing I have is sum vp 110. Would it be ok to just idle the motor on this fuel? Just to flush out?
It's a 15:1 cr
Thanks

Yes. You could even run 87 octane pump gas in it for a few mins. because idle is not much load on it. It wont build a ton of cylinder pressure at idle.
Since you have a little 110 already, go ahead and use it. It isn't going to kill anything, not even if you whack the throttle a few times!!

I use 93 octane pump gas to crank and flush the engine when I run it. I run alky with a Ron's tolit with 14:7 cr. Like was said just don't run around with it just idling want hurt it.

As long as it is RV/marine type "pump gas" without ethanol in it.
DO NOT use normal pump gas to flush a fuel system for a long term storage.

x2 on what Randy said the ethanol will srew up a fuel system if left in it. We have a couple of stores here that still sales none ethanol gas pay a little more at the pump but in the long run it is cheaper.
