Oil Pan Clearance 67 F100
I have a 67 For F100 with a 352. I want to put in a 429 Thunder jet that has been converted to a rear sump pan. The pan is 8 1/4 inches from the bottom of the block to the bottom of the pan. I only have 8 inches from the bottom of the block to the steering bar. Any suggestions on what I should do ? I have looked all over for a shallower oil pan and couldnt find any. Thanks. Tom

If it's a 2wd then put a front sump pan on it.

Yeah if its a 2wd use 73-79 460 mounts and a front sump pan will clear fine the 73-79 with 460 used a front sump pan stock.
