Info on stamping

I've got a d9 block I'm fixin to build into a 547. I cleaned it all up today and found a spot on the driver side bottom of the bell area that I thought was the casting date. I got it cleaned off and it says SPEC. The date code in the valley is 7b11. It's out of a 97 f250hd. Does this mean anything significant? Cant recall ever seeing this before
