Christine's Nightmare 460 Ford 780Cfm Dual Quads List #7128
It Cold Wendy and Nasty Outside Here. Decided To Do a Little Inside Carburetor Work.
Modded The Accelerator O-Ring Brass Tube Main Body For a Traditional 4150/4160 Metering Block.
Used The Primary Metering Block off a Holley Marine 460 Ford 780 List #9029, That I Had. The 9029 is a 4150 Series With Metering Blocks Front and Rear.
If You Want to Convert two(2) Carburetors, You will Need two(2) Brass O-Ring Tubes as They are Not Long Enough to Cut in Half and Work.
If Anyone Converts a Main Body, You Will Want to Cut The Tube Long, Then Trim it to .010"-.015" Taller Then The Main Body Surface, So It Seals To The Metering Block Gasket.
A Brass Rod That Fits Tight with a Hole Through The Center Would Also Work, as Long as It is Tight in The Main Body to Seal. A Little Fuel Proof Epoxy would work if you don't have a Lathe or the Exact Size Rod, I suppose.

Christine's Nightmare 780 Dual Quads Continued Fuel Transfer Tube Conversion
The Old Style O-Rings on The Holley Side Hung Float Bowls Can Be a Fire Hazzard.
The Alky in The Gasoline is Very Hard on The Cheap Black O-rings and The Brown Viton Ones Can Leak Too!
Holley Came Up With a New Style Seal, Not All That Long Ago.
Problem Is, They Don't Fit The Old Aluminum Transfer Tube.
So Holley Makes More Money Selling New Tubes for 10 or 20 Bucks, Likely.
This Is What I Use. Doubt It any Different Then What Holley Sells, Except 3ft. of It is a Under 5 Buck's and Likely 3 at a Decent Hardware Store.
V The First Picture is of The Mainbody Accelerator Pump Transfer Tube Conversion, From Above, Only 3 Pic's Allowed in a Post. So I Stuck it in Here.
It's Quite Boring Stuff on the Fuel Line Conversion. When/If Your Car/Truck is On Fire The Boredom Will Likely Cease, In My Opinion
