c6 trans tailshaft??????

What would be the down side of using a c6 trans with a long tailshaft for a performance application?

No downside in my opinion as long as it fits in the car and you can get the rear mount sorted . I have made up a jig to make an adaptor plate that bolts to the side mounts on the ext housing and adapts to the normal mount as if you had a short housing . Only difference then is the tailshaft will be 90mm shorter .
