torque converters never fit! just cuz a part costs more dont mean its better.the last nofit part i got was a tci shaft for my c4,the splines had to be cut longer so the converter would slide in where it should be.

Maybe I'll bump it every day so it will seem like one But seriously this thread has already helped a couple people. It helped some body find a tool they needed.

I bought a big a$$ wrench to fit the lock nuts on my Caltracs. Paid $26 at O'Reilly. Got it home and immediately cut in right in two so it could fit on the nuts with the tires on the ground. Didn't feel too bad because it was a GM Goodwrench.

Things I've learned
I found that my Manley guide plates needed the stud holes elongated to align with the head holes. I believe the bosses were machined a little to much.

1. Jesel shaft rockers are not a bolt on deal. You have to cut ur head studs flush to the nut. You also have to mill part of the rocker arm stand that hangs over the said stud.
2.The supplemental stud kit you buy for the 18 bolt head deal. You should get the kit with the 6pt nut and bolts. If you get the 12pt you will have to track down a very expensive 12pt crows foot or a some what expensive torque adapter.
3. when you buy a replacement shaft for ur MSD dizzy it will come un drilled, you have to drill ur own holes for the collar and gear.
I'll post more as I think of them.
Do you have any pics of your rockers after installation and what part number are you using, mine need some "field modifications" too, I'm using #KCS(now KPS)-19187.
Thanks

You can call Hooker up and complain about the headers not fitting, and listen to them tell you that they have never heard that complaint before.

I'm on baby duty today until about 8pm. After that I'll go out and take some pics. I only installed #1 cylinder so that I could get my push rod length. But the pics should be enough.

I bought mine from Summit or Jegs on a sale and their brackets were no where near right. The one good thing about the big stores is they have a good return policy.
My general policy on all parts is if I know what I want then I will shop for the best price. If I need technical help to decide what I need then I purchase from whomever I called for the technical help (no matter the cost). This also applies to parts that I may need help with installation or service later on.

Got mine from Summit too but they told me that I had to deal with Scatt. I'm still p1$$ed about it because I've got a set of seats that look great but wont fit in the car.

Here are the pics you asked for below. I looked today and yes the exhaust stands are different from the intake. The intake shaft is 2.15 and the exhaust shaft is 2.00 inches. The part# for my exhaust stands is stn-20321 and the intake stand part# is stn-20320. Hope this helps

AWESOME DUDE !!!!!, I'll check my stuff out and see what I have.
Thanks a ton,

I just looked, my parts are as follows, Int. #20191 and Exh. #20192, all of my shafts are 2.15 long and all of my rockers are #CAAS75. Charles, what are your rocker numbers and what are your spring diameters.
I think I'm gonna sell these and buy the current number that Jesel shows for the TFS head.
Thanks a ton,
Paul

I didn't see any #'s for the rockers. They are 1.70, my springs are the nex tex springs. After work I can measure the springs for ya.

Everyone I've talked to has told me NOT to weld them together, the bolt together design is sufficient and all it does is cause issues if you have to replace a stand.

The #'s on my rockers are gaas70 and its on both intake and exhaust even though the exhaust has a shorter shaft. I wonder if you could by the 2 inch shafts and the stands for just the exhaust
