425-450 hp build questions

After a few years my next step with my truck will be to up the engine from 350ish to 450ish hp.

My questions are...

At that level do I need to improve...

The cooling system? IE, bigger 4 or 3 row radiator?
Higer tourque starter?
Beef up the C6 transmission?

With a leaf sprung rear suspension will I have issues with axle wrap?


Again this is with my long bed F100.

You will want a 4 core radiator even now to keep it cool. You will also want to go high volume with the water pump and oil pump. If you want more information for stuff like internal parts, let me know and I'll get back to you soon with some information. I would also recommend comp cams roller tip rockers or some sort of roller rockers, try to get a set with a higer ratio like 1.7, 1.72, 1.73.

I feel that these engines will handle that power level with no modifications. RPM level will not be all that high to reach that power level.
