Removing oil filter stud
I want to remove the oil filter stud in my engine and it doesnt have a hex to grab like some I have seen. How do you get the ones out without the hex? Some heat and a Vice-grip?
Thanks Tore

Yea,Tore if it's that tight, you may have to heat it. If you don't care about ruining it ,you can put a pipe wrench on it. Shaun has the hex heads in stock.Good luck my friend

Tore,
Get some true "jam" nuts, they are thinner. Use a couple and some heat, and it should come out without destrying anything.

That's what I did. It just so happened that the jam nuts from my heim ends on my adjustable upper control arms are the same size and thread pitch.
