Motor Plate with alternator
Does anybody have any pictures of a front motor plate while using an alternataor. I need some ideas on how to mount my alternator.

Not the best pic I have not ran the engine yet but i think it will work I think im gonna put a adj heim rod to the frame to tighten it with

Hey thnks that what I was kind of thinking. I am going to pick up one of those mini alternators in that location.

Tore, Mine is also a Mini, mounted on the rt side below the plate. I can take a pic if you need me too.

Here's what I built.
I would recomend using a gilmer style cog and belt, dont need to put any tension on the belt.

Here's my setup.
Here's a shot on the backside that shows the rear bracket that is bolted to the fuel pump blockoff cover.

that's beautimus, Doug. Is that a WideVac pump or a single stage?

Thanks! Yes it's Peterson's Wide/Vac. It's works great too. I just drained about 2 oz. of milkshake and 2 oz. of clear water from the puke tank from last Saturday when we were at Reynolds.
