I'm porting my D0VE heads as per Scotty's website, and there is one thing i'm not sure about. IF a CJ style intake, or Victor is NOT being used, is it still beneficial to do a the Victor port match? These heads are going on a nothing special 30 over flat top 460 for now.

The short answer is NO...
Although the heads might flow better on a bench when you put on the intake you will be disappointed.

Std gasket match 1 inch in and widen port at push rod pinch to 1.800"
