i need to replace my oil filter today but cant my hands on a Jomar ...which one would you guys suggest ?

WIX all the way, you can even use an "R" filter if you like, but it might not be legal...................

napa filters are made by wix also
i have used the spin flow filters and the gold
they seem to work fine?

I like to use the 2 quart version if possible. Hastings LF426 is the one for a Ford.

The longer style filter still has the built in bypass like the regular Ford filter. It just has a larger can and a longer filter element so it's much less likely to go to bypass on a cold start.

so i told the napa guy that this was the wrong filter ...... he brought me another one for free its a wix racing part # 51515r ...... he said that is the cross for the motorcraft one ...is he correct Lem ?

Sorry Nick, I do not have the Wix reference matterial. I'm sure the Wix will the okay. You can pick up a Jomar or two at the bash...if you wish.

I used to cut my oil filter open every other outing. Didn't take long to pay for the System1. I guess it depends on how much information you're gathering. Smile
