I'm not gonna use the link...I know you are not making it up.
I like reference stuff but at some point I just gotta know for myself . About 2 years ago the Jomar guys were nice enough to send me one of their filters already cut apart..at that point it was time for me to get to work. I cut a FL 784 diesel, FL 1A, CM-6731/M-6731-FL1A [the frpp unit with the synthetic-polymer/cellulose-fiber blend media] .
As we all can guess the big dia. diesel unit had the most area....the Jomar deal was close behind, the FRPP unit had much more area than the stocker FL 1A. I'll say it again....the FL 1A is a good filter...Charlie's '96 F-250 has 200,000 + miles and the engine is as quite as a new one with a steady diet of FL 1A.

Lem,

Is that FL-784 that FRPP sells just the same diesel filter with the Ford Racing logo on it? I've seen them both ways. With either the Motorcraft or FRPP logo on them. Anything different internally?

What adapter or remote kit needs to be used to run that filter? Is the FL-1995 (long one for a 7.3 diesel) the same internally with just more paper?

Don't need one yet...

Due to certain circumstances I might not need one for some time!

FRPP used to sell the same fl 784 diesel filter that came on the trucks..the new stock with the Ford Racing logo has a different media.
