The heads only flowed 404 @ 800 lift. These heads were bought off a 598 engine that supposedly made 993 hp @7100 and 837 tq @5900 with a single 1150 dominator. Is this even possible with peak flow numbers that low? I paid high dollar for these heads since they were SO WORKED by a guy in Ga lol. I think I got bent.
first , what size pipe did you flow them on?

My converter is real tight, it may be hurting the mph. On the brake wide open it will only go 3500 at 3200da and 3900 @ 400 da. I need to be spraying much more but have been having front end lift troubles. Were moving the motor on down in the chassis now to try and help that. My 60ft on the 8.50 pass was a 1.28, it's should be in the high teens when set right. If my math is correct on the 8.50 @160 pass I should have 60'd 1.18 and the 1/8th should have been high .20's instead of .40's. So if I get the bottom of the track down I think the top will come up too. What ruined me is when the superflow said 404. I just didn't think he could have made that much power on that kind of air flow and felt like I had a set of stock heads sold to me for a worked price. Looks like from others advise though it is possible to make that much hp from 400cfm.

Guy's read the question. He wanting to know about his FORD MOTORSPORT A460 heads not the newer TFS. I have a set with 2.30 valves and only flow 384 @ .700 so your doing better than me. How ever you should call Charlie and talk to him about it while there off.

Tight converter wont hurt mph, but a loose one will. Tight converter will hurt 60'............ask Nick what his 60' numbers are...................
