so you have been running a 514 and scj heads @ 5.60 -.70's ..... now you have more cubes, compression and way better heads (tfs streets) you should be in the 20's -30's ........

That's what happens when you do your own thinking...maybe you should rely on your other half more I know the 8" couldn't take it, the 514 spun the guts out of it

If you are going to run the vacuum pump and the crankcase e-vac both,,,,,,I hope you have a good vacuum gauge hooked up. It might be easy to get too much vacuum.

By the way, the engine looks very nice

Kinda what my 557 did to my eight inch............... never locked up but went to 5200 behind my 514.

You got more cow bell now than it did when I owned it.

Got Mike's (GoinPostal)car running last nite. Hit the starter and it was running. Really sounds good and healthy.Now I can get mine done

Don't know if I missed it somewhere but did you dyno it for comparison against what you use to have?

Mike ,it hasn't been dynoed yet. I may take it back out this summer and pull it? We'll just have to see how everything plays out .
