And VR1...would that be overkill for engine brake in?

No, should be fine, better overkill than killing the cam.

Turpentine! I put some on a cat's ass one time, it ran like hell and he's still around. Must be good stuff!

C'mon Dave ... every old timer knows that TURPENTINE is for fortifying the fuel system, not the oil.
