I Thought of Putting a Plate on my Blue Thunder Dual Quad Intake.

Maybe Something Like This Modified?

Make a Couple of Filler Plates with the 4150 Holes That Drop on The Intake Carburetor Studs and Counter Sink Them to the Blower Plate? Like They do the Holley to Q-Jet Adaptor Plates with Allen Head Round Bolts and Hex Head Coming or Other to the Top Plate?

Teflon Strip the Blades in my 6/71.

Put some Decent Overdrive pulleys on it and Running E-85 and Maybe a little Juice. The Plates and 750 DP's are Already on It.

Do You Think it Would be Worth While?







I Have Plates Under the Carburetors and For The Intake. Up Top would Cool The Air Charge and reduce Detonation, So I would go That way, 75 to 100HP Top, More on the Bottom, For a Second Stage.  

521 with SR71 heads and a Trick Flow intake. Just came off the dyno where it made 850 hp @ 6700 and 740 torque @ 5600 rpm. Resting while I decide what to do with it. I don't have a home for it so I might sell it, or I might swap a few parts in search of 900 hp.
I built a prototype engine dolly for it which seems to be working okay. I might tweak the design and build a few more for some local BBF guys.
