Made some more passes.

Took my brother car to the track today, wanted to give alittle feed back. Off the trailer it went 6.28 @ 110 in the 1/8th..... 9.85 @ 137 in the 1/4. After all the night mares with the tranny, we put the new n2o convertor in & it's too loose.....goes 5200 on the brake. We had problems with the slick cutting in the fender in the 1/4, so 1/8 mile passes the rest of the day. The best we could get on motor was 6.24 @ 111 in the 1/8. This is with 28 degrees timing on a cold n2o plug. I was too tired of screwing with this thing to turn wrenches at the track, so I made no changes!!!!! We made one half hearted nitrous pass, the window switch cut it off well before the 1/8 6800 rpm.....5.91 @ 121. The convertor is coming out tonite. I'll give a run down of the car.

good seeing you today Chuck you didn't cook before yall left did you and nice meeting your brother and your friend with the black mustang. We loaded up and left around 3 yall was waiting in the staging lane for track clean up when left.this afternoon we worked on the carbs changing the air bleeds out put them back to the factory settings.berry grant want get any of my carbs and i will leave it at that.Chuck the car ran good for the tune you had on it I would have like to seen it on the bottle with the( monkey juice )if that convertor would have been right.Good luck on the conv maybe he will get it right this time.I think my daughter got a vid when Rick and your brother ran I will check and see this is the first time she has tried shooting a vid.

Are you going show him chopping the tree down on us!!!LOL It's was good talk'n with ya'll also. Barry Grant better get control of his quality issues, I've hear too many complaints. Oh ya, the con. builder did say this thing must be making an ass load of torq!

Chuck it the only one I have I should have shot some vids of yall but you know how it is when you think you got everything working right just to fine out there is another little problem, Boy it would be nice to have a dyno down here where we could stick it on and get the tune right without going to the track to see if you have right or not.
OK guys this is just having fun not for bragging rights just got lined up together both of them should have run better we still battling carb problem and Chuck and his brother battling conv. and this vid is the first my daughter has shot.I wish I had heard him say Rick had a chevy stuff under the hood I would have strieghten him out quick and let him know it ant no STINKING CHEVY they want run like that on motor
