Re: Built a header today.
I'm iin the far lane, and this was a fairly close race. I went up to Sturgis, SD for the bike rally and attended a two day drag last year. I was running in their Pro Stock class because the lower classes were cubic inch limited classes and my engine was way over their limits, so I was running a stock class truck against big cube Thor, Pro Filer, Big Cheif stuff. Had a bunch of fun though and will do it again this year.Dr.Ford wrote:I'm ready to see this truck on the track...
Any past videos?

Re: Built a header today.
Gave a good effort in a couple of races, but the only win I got was when I drew a by. Sorry to say, but the stacks have been retired. When I ran it in the Street Stock class, it had a 300 I6 in it and them stacks were hooked up to the exhaust and had bullet mufflers in them.

Oh the headers are just the beginning. Got a cam, dizzy, and intake swap going on too. It was pretty nasty before, but it's going to be foaming at the mouth like a rabid junk yard dog now. The cage and headers were just the easy parts to start with on rainy days.

Re: Built a header today.
Gonna be a Super Stock truck now Todd. Still have a lot to do, but it's too wet to farm or put up hay, so I just as well upgrade the truck. Have had a lot of this stuff laying around for over a year, just no time to do it. I'll probably get this all done and in a little while start on this one.
The Ranger will be a Modified truck some day. Gotta start finding the pieces and parts for it.

Daaaang! Nice job there Rob. It looks a little greener than when I was there in January, but the background sure is lookin' familiar though.

Love the stacks Schmitty! I thought about going that route with my ole Bronco. I see you got some stuff for sale over at Scott4x4.com. What intake are you going with? That 552 should REALLY scream now.

I'm really doing some finger crossing and hope that we get some info on the TFS intake soon. Last word was late June, so I'm really hoping it's a go. I probably won't be doing any mud drags util mid July, so I'm hoping.
