you should cover both demographics.. sell some that say "Have you met THE A+ know it all racer?" and some that say "I HAVE met the A+ know it all racer!" really expanding your market, since you know they'd sell so well the chinese kids would hardly be able to keep up with the shirt making.

Looking over all my timeslips I will say it ran better to the 330 given the sorry 60' time, I do feel the manifold helped ever so slightly, and for sure did not hurt any. Will leave the exact set up in it and go to Lawton here in 2 weeks and give it a go there, air will be a bit better I hope lol.

Finally got a little break in the action and got the old manifold off. My custom Stealth 8021 isn't too much different externally in dimensions. The TFS weighed in at 20# and the Stealth at 21#, so only a pound of difference. The Stealth looks to have a fair bit of polishing in the runners though, to a basically as cast TFS.

This is a pic of the runners with the TFS on the left.

get my slips out and compare later, best I can tell the manifold is worth a bit of mid and top end power....not much....but again we are comparing a well ported victor with the mafia intake................bigger motor might show more improvment.....plus we are in the really crappy air.

All I can say after the runs tonight, is WOW. Granted there was a huge jump in camshaft also, but this engine almost became scary. I can say that if you are questioning whether or not it works well with the DOVE's, the answer is YES. I would run out of power in the mid 6K range with the old setup and am pulling hard well past 7K now. For all of the DOVE haters that say they won't make power in the upper RPM range, I say heck yeah they will. It would be fun to compare a set of DOOE's which I know will make more power, but I ran against some very stiff competition tonight and put them away easily.

I got Blake's intake manifold ported /polished , injector bosses re angled, drilled and tapped, and removed the throttle bracket bosses. It weighs in at 18.8 lbs.

I also measured the runners and reported back to Blake and he is doing the math on them now . I am not posting the runner lengths, Blake can do that if he wants its his intake .

I did get Blake's bill figured up and I think 1 lb of one hundred dollar bills should take care of it

Glad to hear the end runners cam out where I wanted them..................


But we gonna have to talk about this damn bill.............

The bill would not be so high , but I had to borrow C.C.'s high dollar die grinder , Hobb's charged quite a bit for the "KY motor-sports custom intake manifold " stickers , and I will have to take it to Jim and get it painted to match my car beens I am gonna test it for you. .

Injected/Alky might not respond the way Carb/gas would. Dry air, nozzles at the base,etc. I have had customers go from a pair of Toilets to an Enderle hat, and from Tunnel Ram with Toilets to a single 4 with 1 monovalve, and see no gains in performance. No booster signal, plenty of CFM of dry air,etc.

I think its more about which way that wave is going when the valve opens, kinda like the wind blowing on a closed door .
No matter what you do to a carb on a victor its not going to help the corner runners without effecting the tune on the center runners , you can change just the corners with injection, if you can get more air to the corners with this tfs intake with a carb as it has indicated on the dyno it should run better with injection also.
