Should be good.. I can run 10.1 with Doves @ 136 with a 3.27 rear gear + worn out 521 motor.

They were working on the Sherry's shocks and such, still having some issue.

Chuck called and said he went 10.00 and Damon went 9.33, they were having fun and everything was going good!!

First off, we had a great time and it was great to see ya'll again!! Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. KY for the help and video, you guys are the best. Blake and I are gonna try and keep after it but I think its getting closer. I'm gonna get out there today and check out the antiroll and see if there is any slack in it.The last pass was made with a pretty soft shock setting. Plugs almost look like they want more fuel and the timing may have helped, may have been weather. Its hard to tell when I'm only getting seat time every 3-4 months or so but I'm gonna try and change that. The girls had a blast as well. They were very happy to bug.................... I mean play with everyone!!



Boo Boo

Well, We had a blast as usual, It's always a good time with that group of guys and gals. They are the best.

First, the cast heads and an extra battery added 104 lbs to the car over the previous weight with me in the car.

It ran a 5.88 @ 117 1/8th mile and 9.28 @ 142 and change 1/4 mile. It just dosen't pull in the upper rpm like the Streets did . The 60 foot times went up to 1.31's from 1.26's It's a lose of torque issue i'm sure from the bigger runner size.

Mph is down also 124 before and now 117 1/8 147 before 142 now 1/4 mile. Could get more with tuning , but I don't think there is much more left .

Not bad for almost 40 year old iron. Here chevy chevy chevy,,,,,,,,,,,, lol

This was a real fair test Blake did. Now these are not an ordinary set of iron CJ's, Blake put some magic in them for sure. He also gained 100#s with the heads and an extra battery, the air was not bad but not mineshaft. My best guess those iron SCJ's are down some 70hp. This would still put him at approx 800 give or take.

Bottom line you put a big arm in a BB Ford, put a 380 or so cfm head be it whatever flavor, nice cam and some compression its gonna make power. Even Nice Eddies make 840 plus.

I'd like to see Blake throw an alky carb on it and see what results he can come up with. If you need one bro I might be able to dig something up.

I agree Jon... The testing was at the very least, legit, and very positive... Unlike some others' hearsay testing that's been posted in the past... Like Blake said, not bad for 40 year old iron... I think those #'s are very impressive, and proves you can still make pretty big power with production stuff... Good job Blake...
