I have a set of Pro comps.... lol
Thanks , Cheatham no problem , just when ever. Pro-comps, LOL, I had an ugly girl friend one time, but I finally got rid of her. All my buddy's laughed at me.
I had one of them ugly girls years ago, skinny and ugly, but she made me the man I am today, it was just that good.
Back on topic, thanks Blake on testing the old iron, makes me feel better.

great job Chuck ...how much of an improvement over what you had before ??? I know that feeling of parking it for the rest of the year

The 472 with cast iron heads ran 6.60s 1/8th 10.50s 1/4.The best it ran was a 10.31 at 131.00 last year at Bowling Green at the NMRA race and that was in prefect weather or as Blake said mine shaft air.

Re: Track testing Saturday night
I had a blast at the track.I'm telling you boys something, the fastest thing I have ever piloted was a mid 6 second (1/8th mile) ride.I didn't know what to expect when I crawled in Blake's car.I aint gonna lie,I was as nervous as a mashed cat!I wished i would have remembered to turn the water pump and fans on.That way I wouldn't have got in my own water!! I WILL do it again!!!On a clear sunny day !!!By the way,Kristy just brought me my pants and showed me that most of the stain came out.Thank you Billy Mayes for Oxyclean.Rest your soul. Thanks for the chance to drive your car(Mike and Blake). It was awesome to see everyone agian.Chuck, you keep on running that Gator mouth and I'll put your big butt back in that Garbage can!!! My back is okay though!!---RED

Looks like you boys had a good time
Thanks for the video, makes not being there a lot easier.
We still got some work to do. Hope you guys can make another trip before the October race.
Blake, those are good numbers, can't wait to see what those P-51s will do
I bet Chuck has a BIG smile on his face, probably see some 9s at the next Test & Tune.

Sunday times
Hey Blake, It's Scott. First I want to thank you for the insight you gave Saturday night, it really helped. Like I said Sunday when I called you, the last pass on Sat. night got me a 10.44 at 127.3 & 6.64 at 104.2 at half track.
Well I have an update for you from Sundays testing. First pass out of the trailer with no changes was a 1.47 60ft, 6.61 at 104.5 and 10.414 at 127.56 again I got that real clean smell at the top end when I got out of it. The second pass I didn't bring it up as high at the lauch by accedent, I had been leaving at about 4000. That time it ran a 1.50 60ft, 6.62 at 104.8 and 10.416 at 128.2. The only thing I changed was about 5 turns on the rear shocks. I'm pretty pleased so far, but I still feel like there is more in it, It only has 5 passes on it.
Actually I forgot, before the second pass I put a 6800 chip in because On the first 10.41 I was on the limiter about 6 cars from the stripe that was with a 6600 chip. With the 6800 I was on it about 3 lengths out. You think I'm going to need a gear change or what? I'm kind of nervous turning that hard. Thanks again.
