Travel route advice?

Gentlemen, I will be traveling eastward on I90 to Albany IN next month and could use a suggestion or two.

Rte 1- I90 to Albert Lea MN then I35 Des Moines then I80 Davenport I74 Indy onward to Albany.

Rte 2- I90 to Sioux Falls SD I29 to pick up I80 to Davenport I74 etc.

Any advice or suggestions, preferences?

Either route will get you there, I doubt there is much difference in the mileage. If you do the Albert Lea to I-35 route, you can get off I-35 at Clear Lake, Iowa and take route 27/hwy 18, which then joins up with I-380 and will join I-80 at Iowa City. All 4 lane freeway, and probably a little shorter. Your choice as I said, both good routes.
