The bits I did that too were 4in long, I buy some of them long and cut them to the length I want.

Seems like waaay more work than the reward for this kind of port match, especially since it's gonna "bottleneck". I think I need a little more info as to why someone would want to hog out their iron head this much in the first place please.

That is why the VICTOR port match is so popular as you only want to port match as big as the manifold runner, (which is about half way to CJ size). Someone using the production CJ two plane iron intake manifold, (due to class rules), is really the only reason to go entirely to the CJ size but, even that barely increases the power any, over not doing anything to the head flange opening.
It's almost all in the manifolds.
