Whats the alky tune issue?

Im curious about this motor .did Charlie do the heads ??

Not only did he do them, he flat outdid himself. I can't wait for a run of decent weather so I can travel up there and shoe horn it in to the digger.

Did you get the bugs worked out w/ the alky?? final numbers??

The reason Im so interested is I have a c-headed motor we just dynoed and it makes good power but Im always looking for more . and just got a new virgin set of c- heads I would like to do some thing with. Thanks ,Steve

I wasn't there when they dyno'd it, so I don't know if there were "bugs". It made a butt load of power, as previously stated, it was the highest HP of any "C" headed, single carbed on gas motor they have had on that dyno as done for a comparison. I believe all dynos will give you a different number, so unless you are going to have the KY crew dyno your motor, my numbers would not mean much to you. When the time is right, I will post track times, which is what really matters.

10-4 I am setting on pins and needles now! I just want to make sure that the weather is good enough to go that many miles with my xtra long rig.

Nothing new yet, other than it is in the car and ready to go racing. The bad part is, I am in Chicago working, and probably won't be home before June.

Yeah, my travels with my job are what allows me to afford the things I have, sooooooooooooo , I guess I can't complain to much if I'm out having to pay my dues.

Plus, I don't wear it out or break parts with it sitting in the trailer!

I am certain that it will accomplish my goals. I had the very best minds working on it

I'm only wanting to hit 4.50s in the 1/8. That will get me in the top half where I race.
