cam thrust plate
Any recommendations for a cam thrust plate? Stock block, roller cam, billet steel timing Cloyes timing set.
I was looking at this: Ford Racing M-6269-A460
Suggestions?

Re: cam thrust plate
The bronze cam retainers are a direct bolt on [no gear machining] and are less money than the FRPP A460 unit .

If using a roller cam, either use a bearing deal or a bronze plate. Don't risk it, because all the metal in the motor and the potential cam walk is not worth the risk.
