Thinking of putting BBF in old Blue

I got a buddy got a 89 model 460 that he toke out of a van he bought could not get it to run right fuel injection problem he toke it out and put a 429 in it.Motor was rebuilt stock all new bearings ,oil pump,pistons, timing chain. I can get it and a c6 for $300. I can get a set of dove heads but what would be good intake for it alum.what hp would you think it would have may go ahead put a new cam in it would like to have about 400hp. what yall think .thanks Jim

Well bought it today may have fond a 96 Ranger Extended Cad Sportside to build mae a new toy. 96 Ranger +460 c6 look out mustangs would be a fun little ride going to see what I can get it for tomorrow.

Didnt get the ranger but got bbf turn out to be 460 industral truck block and truck rods with a steel crank but i cant complain $150 for shortblock rebuilt with new pistons rings,rod,@main bearings.rebuilt C6 for$150 total = $300.Ordered new intake from Lem great people to buy from has better prices than summit on his intakes,will be doing more business with him on my build.look out old blue is getting a new hart see goihg to be moving alittle quicker.

motor ready but have changed my mind on putting it in old blue looking for mid 90s ranger thought i had 01 ranger, ex cab,with the fair side bed but was a few days late thought about putting it in a s10 but cant bring myself cross bread chevy and ford ready dont care for chevys

Got lead on a s10 97 ex cab sitting in the weeds going to check it out may just put it in a s10 and take all the chevy emblems off and put ford oval emblems on it but got to have ex cab need to cut the fire wall out to move the engine back for the wieght of the big heavy 460 that would piss off the chevy guys to see a s10 with ford emblems on and ranger emblems and get dan to make me some stickers to say [ I WANT TO BE A RANGER THIS IS AS CLOSE AS I CAN GET ] What yall think or say with the ranger plan

i would leave all the s10 mem on and on the back window put (power by ford the only way to make a chevy run fast) or you can say its just a 350
