Valvetrain all done, valve covers clearanced, had to modify the baffle for the stud girdle to clear................should get the intake slicked up this week and on..................fuel system has been flowed and matched...........hopefully we'll get it on the dyno here in a few weeks and makes some noise....

Are you planning on making some passes in the car yet this year? Wasn't sure if you were doing any upgrades to it too besides the wheelie bars. You've made some good progress on that thing in the past few weeks. Good luck.

I wont have it out this year, I still have to redo the headers, finish the bars, get the lexan bolted in the front, few small things here and there. I'll have it out for sure come late Feb or March and see how deep in the 8's it will go.

I will be watching this one, very interesting build--anxious to see the results.

Since the stud girdle more or less acts as a baffle, we don't even bother putting the FRPP valve cover baffles in.

its already done and in there, I had a similar deal on my 306 and the girdle wasn't enough to keep an excessive amount of oil out of the catch can.....................had to stick a baffle in it......its all good.

wow sweet set up. Where did you get that water neck adaptor for the intake manifold? Wish I would have thought of that, that way I could have kept the large cap distributor that I had.

I made it, along with the front motor plate, bunch of other little trinkets. that dizzy is the taller 8377 unit which MSD no longer makes, it has the proper clearance for the production style intakes.

Will get the vacuum pump on (which I also made the mounts for lol) and should get all the injection stuff back this week from the dyno shop as it all got flowed.
