.045, pistons are approx .010 in the hole.

so you are at 13+ on the cr?

Heads were cut .020, the math puts it at 14.56 w a flat top piston.

The headers that fit the car will not fit the dyno..........Charlie loaned me a set of adapters as the only headers available to use are of the BBC variety. They are 2 1/8", I feel the 2 1/4" would be better numbere wise.....but it is what it is. Main thing for the dyno is to tune the deal and not have to spend 5 weekends doing it at the track..............the numbers the car puts up will tell the real tale of this deal.


I'm going as fast as I can afford Charlie.........so bear with me lol. I should take it out there next weekend.

You can borrow my uprights if you want Jon, they come with the plates already on.

no but if anyone has a good set of 2 1/4 BBC dragster or chassis car headers I'd love to borrow them lol.

I have a set of 2 3/8 headers with 5 inch collectors tube chassis headers for A heads...

Jon, I have a set you can borrow, minus the collector. I used to have collector mufflers on them and sold the mufflers.

If someone out there has a good set of 2-1/4 collectors, let me know!

Yep don't trust that Coug, he'll box up stuff and just send it to you to try, or just borrow. That stuff ain't got no place around here.

I went out in the shop earlier and I had a huge empty feeling in my soul.................a lonely engine stand there sat.............

you do know theres an easy fix for that...

You had to clearance the rocker arms.

I just had to "touch" the backs of the intake rockers as at full lift the edge of the pushrod wanted to rub just barely. No hill for a stepper..............
