I don't get it, whats the point that he had to clearance the pushrods? I just noticed that he didn't mention anything about about the rockers through the thread and thought I would throw it in. Probably wouldn't have had that problem if he had bought some A++, hero, Crower, Stainless Steel, rockers or shaft mounted!

If I had used the std 3/8 stuff it would have bolted together without the need for the "custom" work. I plowed this ground and gave Lem some feedback so the next guy can more or less just put it together......... But the heads still need clearanced and you need to fab guideplates............ or simply get a builder that will look at all the stuff that needs looked at.

I'll order the next set with a 3/4" tip rather than the 1/2" tip.....that will resolve this minor issue.

Why buy a set of shaft rockers which I do not need when a slight touch from a sand roll will resolve the issue?

Cool build!

I wasn't asking anything other than my the last post. Just stating a fact that you had to clearance the rockers for the pushrods. I guess everyone assumed I meant to ask a question as to why and I just couldn't type. That would explain what brought on all the post about "custom".

will shaft rockers allow lower valve covers, essentially giving more room in the engine compartment (fox body) for lets say an a460 headed deal, allowing more room for the brake master cylinder, and plug access...?

Yes they will, because you won't be using the tall ARP rocker studs and the Jomar stud girdle.
