No hard feelings here, and I appreciate the compliments. There are a few that find the facts hard to swallow, and honestly there are behind the scene HeRo's that made this possible. My real challenge will be making it all work in the car, which it will, despite those who choose not to think so.

I'm with Phillip on this one. As the owner of an SCJ headed engine, also a P-51 headed engine, also a TFS A-460 headed engine, (and I'm building a Pro-Filer headed engine),,,,,,there is a application for each and every one of them. That doesn't mean that any of those heads are bad.

As far as the pecking order goes, Phillip has an American Racecars dragster with TFS A-460 heads that is dang fast, runs 4.50/60's on motor, then Bobby Shrewsberry has an American Racecars dragster with P-51 heads that has run 4.70/80's on motor and he won the 2010 Ford bash with it. Finally Phillip has another American Racecars dragster (Morgan's) with SCJ heads that has run 4.90/5.0's on motor. That pretty much tells you the pecking order right there. They each have their place. Same with C-460, Pro-Filer and Thor heads,,,, same with Boss Hemi heads, again it doesn't mean any of them are bad. The only "bad" heads I know of are the Pro Comp heads, and they probably have their place in truck motors, RV's and street rods.

I understand Jon's happiness with his P-51 DD dyno results. I am also pleased with his dyno results. It seems like when an engine is an "overachiever" and produces more torque and power than some of the naysayers say it should, we're naturally pleased and have a right to be happy. None of us need to be throwing any rocks at each other. As a good natured challenge,,,there is somewhat of a race going on between Jon, Blake and myself to see who can be the first to bust 1000 Hp with P-51 heads. Guess what, we're all helping each other. That's the way it ought to be.
