New front suspension help!
Hey guys, I'm changing out my front suspension and had a few question I thought I'll ask before spending all my money. I have a BBF, should be some place in the 9's. It's a foxbody hatch. 25.4 certified cage
1. is it a big deal to go with chromoly over mild steal?
2. what spring rate should i pick?
3. what drop on the rack do i need 1 1/2 or 2 1/2? or can i just use them k-member spacers?
4. which k-member brand are you using??
5. all info welcomed
Thanks

im using a d and d k-member ( mild steel )with front and rear plates , 150lbs springs, strange adj. , upr camber plates and bump steer, flaming river rack ...with zero drop
i would run the upr c/m or the aje deal lots more room with these new updated k-members

The deal we put on the fox is a Team T we got from Jones, seems ok, I dont like how the lower arms are a 1/2" or so out further than stock.

Re: New front suspension help!
watch what package you get, you will need to watch front wheel back spacing, unless you like the front wheels sticking out past the wheel lip..... Also watch what brake package you use it can make the situation even worse.

That's because everybody builds their fox K's to 87-93 GT specs. The 79-86 car's (all ex. SVO) and 87-93 4 banger cars are 1" narrower than the later GT's.

You mean Team Z? I saw Dave this weekend down in Georgia at the race.
I could have swore they was suppose to be the short a-arms.
