Alright guys, heres the scoop. I'm leaving Friday morning to head to Owensboro and meet up with Blake and we're gonna strain this BITCH on Saturday 10-30-10
So give me your thoughts and or opinions what this will do
A short summary:
4.420 bore
4.3 stroke
Basically a "hopped up" Ford crate 514 engine

SCJ-A ported by "BLAKE DA SNAKE"

Well,,,,,,,I wish you had let Blake get you a roller cam, then I'd be happier because I know more about them. However, I'll take a wild-ass guess and say somewhere between 775 and 800 Hp. Good luck and I'll see you Saturday.

He bought the heads with the flat tappet spring package. Going to a roller was going to be a good bit more money,and with the peak flow numbers at or around .600 lift, think the SCJ,s are a good candidate for a flat tappet.
I hope to see good hp out of this combo. Flat tappet , flat top pistons, and bowl blended heads.
I'm guessing 700-730 hp

Okay Snake, after further imput from you the builder, I agree with you and will lower my sights a little. How's about 750 Hp?
