do you remember what size headers were on my motor while it was being dynoed ??
2 1/8 or 2 1/4 ...were they stepped ?

I'm pretty sure we used the adapters to run the bbc headers that belong to the dyno shop. Mike always said they were 2-1/4"........I measured them a few months ago...they are in fact 2-1/8"...no step.

thanks Lem .... do you think there would be a negative effect on that engine if we went to 2 1/4 ....... would it help any ?

I see no down side to the 2-1/4"......they probably will be a little better period....darn sure will be when you have it on the hose.
