Changed Directions,,, again
Well I have done it again, changed directions on what I am doing.
I have a 1987 Mustang and was going to try a stock type suspension car. I was looking on Craigslist right before Thanksgiving and came across a back halfed Mustang. It was a 1986 just like my Idol, "Blake The`Snake Cartwright', well not just like, but you get the idea, and I had to have it.
Let me know if this was an OK deal?
It is an 86 coupe, 8 point cage, 3 x 2 rear frame rails, ladder bars and coil overs
narrowed 9 inch with disc brakes
5 lug front spindles
Weld drag-lights, skinnies up front and rear new M/T 13X31's
429 +030
C-9 heads
Speed Pro forged pistons
Canton oil Pan
Comp Roller cam and lifters
Comp stainless roller rockers
E'brock RPM air gap with an adapter and a Holley Dominator
MSD 6-AL and billit distributor
Hooker headers, cerramic coated
Trick Flow rocker covers
Aluminum Fuel cell
Holley Blue pump
TCI Street Fighter C-6 W/ loose concerter
New Autometer guages and tach
The car runs and drives, but it still needs the interior sheet metal and wheel tubs. It also needs side windows. I paid $2700.00 and drove it into Blakes trailer and we took it home.
What do you guys think.

He is way the hell farther down the road toward the track, and will have a good working car for when his good engine is done. The car needs a little sweetning but the basics are sound.
I'm glad to see him get the car, it will be nice soon.

Re: Changed Directions,,, again
I will try to take some pics over the Christmas weekend.
I am going to get started on the sheet-metal ASAP.
As soon as Blake is done with his motor we will start on mine.
I have all the parts for a 466. It will have P-51 heads, Victor Intake, Ron's Flying Toilet, Flat top pistons, H-beam rods and a Blake Cartwright speced roller cam. This is one of his "I need more Cow-bell" grinds.
