How about 1.200" and still working...just get used to checking and changing valve springs...don't ask me how I know
The cost difference between 700" and 815" isn't really that big.... Your already buying the "Big" parts for the 700" motor.....Billet Crank, Aluminum Aftermarket Block, Big Rods, Big Hemi Heads, Sheet Metal Intake....Etc. Only thing that changes is maybe deck height and bore........ 632" +/- is about the cut off with reasonably conventional or common parts.

IMO I wouldn't let having 1 part dictate the complete build, your looking at a very expensive engine requardless if you have a crankshaft of not and like is always said "more is better"......

It was an 815" combo with B441 heads. Didn't run out of steam. Shifted at 8000.....lot of "stuff" spinning around at that speed

Eric,
1. A 5" billet crank won't get you a 833 CID engine.
2. The 12" deck height blocks are available in alum. from C&C Motorsports. It will be the 5" bore spacing, wide pan rails version.

Eric,
Okay, it was confusing and I misunderstood your post. I'm sorry. By "cast block", then you are saying a cast iron block? What is the bore spacing going to be on it?

Re: 700 cubic inch
My Best Guess $750-1250 +/- maybe more if someone wants one or you can verify its history and useage. or it could be less if its been repaired or abused.
It would be in the $3500 range new.
