Well if mother nature sees fit this weekend I will get some runs on the alky. The last few weekend she hasn't seen fit rain every weekend not complaining about the rain we need it , just wish it would rain during the week and not on the weekends.

I am happy with the alky set up 7.12 the best on 110 gas 6.78 on alky not to bad for a shadetree build or it might have been the cApE on the engine with the hErO tune in it

Re: Jim's Little 460 AND 2000 RANGER
Looks like it may be in the 2800 to 2900# range with me in it after we finish the upgrades so with the wieght loss and a few extra ponies to go with that I might get to see some low 6's in the 1/8 all N/A .

Re: Jim's Little 460 AND 2000 RANGER
OK for the ones that are wondering about my new build it will be ported A429 heads with a matching eddy victor intake looking to build a 700hp engine this time thinking about a 532 or 545 leaning to the 532 I beleave it will work better with my head set up I have.but it will be another 2 month on the engine so who knows might change my mind again

Re: Jim's Little 460 AND 2000 RANGER
I am going to put the A429 heads and intake I bought from Mike on the 460 and see just how much I gain over the dove-c heads this will be just the heads and intake change with no other changes.Just bought a set of ARP head studs and a gasket kit so maybe in about 3 weeks I can make it to the track if it don't rain.

Re: Jim's Little 460 AND 2000 RANGER
Well the heads are finaly on and truck back together I would have never thought just to swap from the dove-c to the a429 heads would would change the sound of the engine the way it did. So just maybe here in a few weeks I will know what it will do and give some results with just the head swap.
