I'd think that just outside air should be better than the hotter air from the engine compartment. Mr.Bowles's outfit looks awesome .

I ran a test on my home made ram air system. It picked me up 3 tenths in the quarter vs open air element under the teardrop scoop.

Personally, I don't think that scoop will help a WHOLE LOT over simply fresh air in the 1/8 mile however, I would expect to see something in the 1/4.

You don't understand the reason for putting it on, its a weight factor.

Thanks Bruno, the scoop really wasn't to get in the fives, I just wanted to get a glass hood, so I put a new scoop on it, Dan started the 5's deal, I just went along with it, it is really a weight thing, the other one was like lifting a side from a barn.

Hell, let em do it by reaction time. Judging by the perfect light stickers in his back window I'd say Harold's odds of getting to choose his lane would be pretty good.
(as long as he doesn't forget which button is the line lock and which is the trans brake again )
And it's about time you got rid of that steel hood Harold.

Dan, I can't find the dude that painted the car, guess you will have to carry the trunk deck to the paint store, let them scan it.
