I'm not sure exactly how they are driving the tires, but it is definately not with axle shafts. I wonder if it is some kind of chain drive, or hydraulic drive.

i saw that thing on youtube a while back. It said it is a chain drive, powered by a 5.0 mustang engine....

5.0L, C-4. Chain drive on the wheels.. Long chains. I bet the Gov.. will be all over this!
