Holmes-Like Runners?
That looks suspiciously like a tunnel ram under there with no top on it.
Am I close?

Man...it is "hard" to beat the looks of the Holmes manifold. It is a tribute to the namesake, by bolting it to a stroker.
Re: more progress!
wish it was a virgin lol! this ones been around the block a few times.it was cut up in the front for some reason but it's fixed now.when i got it off ebay all i was looken at was the hat adapter so the intake was a +.i have one made of mag but i knew i'd have to cut it on the bottom to fit this motors .100 cut heads and the deck's been cut the hell ot of too so i'm saven it for the 605.David Willingham wrote:Look at that virgin Holmes intake! Re: more progress!
Not sure why you guys put the check valves clear on the other side of the motor, all you do is suck dirt and stuff in the engine, plus it allows the pump to pick up excess oil and heat. Best place is right close to the hose or in the hose itself.

Re: more progress!
that valve was already in the intake when i got it.notice the black tape on it? first pass it blew oil out everywhere so i put tape on it.the moroso pump i'm about to run has it on the pump at the line.

V.D.O.P. (Vulgar Display of Power)
The VDOP acronym should be universally applied to all of our BBF engines.
Who cares about any scientific design formulas for runner length...plenum volume...and all of that.
That bare frontal exposed photo is just nasty...in a very nice way. The natural curvature of the runner is art.
It is spring time and only natural for little Birds to poke their heads out of the nest (hood) and take a refreshing breath.
Thanks for sharing. I will go out and throw a rock at my Flying Toilets now.

Re: more progress!
You need a big and ugly sitting on top of that intake!! It'd be about to the roof line then That is one Bad Azz set up. I hope I like mine as much after I test it. sitting here just tuning on it, I love it. It's got insane throttle response!! Good luck with it
