I just found that I need different guide plates for these heads, do I need different pushrods also or will the ones I have now work? I had a stock set heads on it. Thanks

you will have to measure them to know for sure just guessing can cost a bunch I would get a push rod checker and check to see what size you need I know without changing heads just changing my cam last winter I had to change my push rods.

Depends on the brand of rocker somewhat. Typically with the rockers I use.........8.800"/9.150"

AND ... if you are using a large camshaft then you might need a different intake notch location in the pistons, also.

the camshaft is a 614/631 solid lift and I am going to order the adjustable pushrod length checker from jegs but still not sure how to figure what angle the rocker arm needs to be to the valve. Is it a 90 degree angle or so the roller is centerd on the valve tip? thanks guys. I hope I dont need to clearence the piston that will suck in the car.

I know nothing of the milodon rockers.........we do have some of the FRPP 3/8" 8.800/9.150" p. rod kits if that turns out to be what you need.

You want to keep the roller in the center of the valve when fully open and closed.
