Re: nitrous stall
Mine don't have nos but I do leave on foot brake no trans brake I get my best 60' time by leaving from idle and nailing it.My 60' time coming up on the convertor is 1.55 leaving off idle is 1.42 me and truck is 3265.I have a c6 with a 10'' 4000 stall and I only can hold it at 1700 rpm but off idle when nailed my tach will hit 4200 by the recall.Next time you at the track try leaving at idle and see if it helps the 60' time.

Re: nitrous stall
My 84 mustang with the 472 and iron heads only had a big tci breakaway converter that i could'nt footbrake over 1500 and i sprayed it with a 150 shot several times right outta the hole using a wot switch and had no problems,i know most books say don't spray below 2500 but thats BS it works as already stated, and i would'nt think your weight is 4000lb unless ur a very big guy. I went from 10.60's @127 mph to 10.09 @132 on the 150 shot and that was outta rpm before the stripe, about right after the 1000ft mark where it lost power. Heres a crappy viedo of it.

Re: nitrous stall
I always sprayed right outta the hole but not from an idle, the lowest i ever tried was the 1500 in my 84 cause of the converter but in my 76 cobra with the 302 i bring it up to 2500, thats a 125 shot off the line leavin at 2500 in my avatar.
